‘Strength is in the Movement.’ Education is the movement of child development. The important objective is to make the students strong. Being strong means becoming physically strong, intellectually strong, organizationally strong. It is important to cultivate children’s social and emotional intelligence.
The age of students in primary section is very tender and cultured. Once these children become mentally and emotionally capable, they are guaranteed to succeed. This is where the true nature of a primary teacher comes into play. Children learn best at their own pace when they feel comfortable and confident. Children are nurtured by praising and encouraging them. Child development is best whe he gets love and affection. A primary teacher truly lays the foundation and creates the background for student learning. Such foundation can be best through mother tongue. Children can acquire skills without being parroted. This is where formal education begins. The child starts moving towards quality learning through the values of cleanliness, self-discipline and self-study.
Children’s age and mind is very sensitive and absorbing, so there is no other way like a story, or a parable to create the base of thinking in their mind. These parables stimulate children’s thinking, create awareness of good and bad, create precision in the mind about how to behave and not to behave.
Instilling good manners in children is a very important part of the education process of children. When they receive love and care, their fears disappear; they open up and they express themselves freely. Children are the strength of a country and the foundation of building a society. For this purpose, every year on the occasion of Balsabha, various initiatives are planned, and programs are organized on various topics. Through Balsabha the sense of harmony among the children increases and brotherhood grows.
For campfire, childrengather together after school. Instead of entertainment programs, the activities that enrich children mentally and socially are planned. Children help in cooking Khichadi. They also draw, paint, play and dance. Campfire creates an everlasting memory in children’s minds.
Arts and music games increase the creativity of children. Similarly the Quiz is organised to increase their general knowledge. Children participate in various activities, this promotes overall development, children learn to behave in society, learn to communicate effectively with each other, this helps to enrich their mind, thinking and intellect.
