'Punarvasu Balak Mandir' was established with the objective of having a pre-primary school within walking distance for 3-year-old children. Founder Rukminibai Bhagwat and Amalatai Bhagwat started the kindergarten in their home with 2 students and got a great response in the next ten years.
Abhijat Education Society, a trust, was established and a primary school was inaugurated. Within 10 years, the primary school was well accepted by people and in 1999 an approval was granted to the Abhijat Primary School by the government.
‘Own Building:Secondary Section’ - With the increase in the number of students, the school was shifted to a new spacious building of the institute. The upper primary and secondary sections were also started in the new building respectively.
Abhijat Secondary School got Government approval in 2013. With the relentless efforts of the teachers and students, 100% result is achieved for the 10th standard’s SSC board examination every year.
To create awareness about education and to shape the future generation with the help of education.
